"It's All About Me"
I have always thought outside the box. Better yet, I have lived outside the box. I've been in the travel industry for 30 years and that has allowed me to explore the world in a manner I would otherwise not have been able to. My travel experience along with my love and knowledge of all things "pop culture" started my passion of documenting my "life experiences" in photos. Whether it’s a beautiful sunset on board a luxury cruise liner or dancing on stage at Madison Square Garden with Bruce Springsteen, you can rest assured there are photos to prove it and in this day and age of social media it would seem I am not alone. I also happen to be one of those people who enjoys giving gifts as much, if not more, than receiving them. I needed to come up with a way to tie it all together and I did just that.
Time and time again people commented on what fabulous gifts I created and how much thought I had put into each one and then it was followed by a request for my business card. They were always surprised to hear it was just something I did because I enjoy doing it. I must admit, that light bulb should have gone on long before it did, and I finally asked myself why wasn't I doing this for reasons other than my personal enjoyment? With that said, I've worked endlessly to be able to share my art with you and along with your vision create "the gift they're still talking about." That one of a kind personalized item for just about any occasion. Together we'll come up with an "out of the park" home run. Here's a true story that happened recently at a bridal shower. The bride-to-be began opening this gift and she could already tell by the wrapping paper that it was not from her registry. Her demeanor changed knowing she was going to have to "love it" whether she did or not and she looked nervous. When she opened a beautiful custom-made throw pillow with my original design made from a photo taken the moment her fiancé proposed to her in front of the Sydney Opera House in Australia her guests asked that she pass this gift around the room. When her eyes welled up and she announced how much she "loved it" there was no doubt she meant it.
With each and every new project, I take what's ordinary and make it personally extraordinary! I put my heart and soul into every one and it's this passion for all things individual that is reflected in my highly varied and always growing portfolio.
